For Researchers

If you work on this disease, let's move faster together.

Mission Pegasus exists to accelerate research into SDH-deficient GIST. If you're a scientist or clinician whose work touches this cancer — or the biology behind it — I'd genuinely like to hear from you.

Rare-disease research stalls for a familiar reason: the science is scattered across labs, funding is thin, and no single group is set up to connect the dots and push them forward. Mission Pegasus is built to be that connective, catalytic force — small, fast, and singularly focused on turning promising leads into tested treatment options.

I'm not a lab. I'm the person who will help your good idea for this disease actually happen — with funding, coordination, and momentum.

Ways to collaborate
Grants

Co-apply & support proposals

I can strengthen your funding applications — from letters of support to helping generate preliminary data, or acting as a partner on the proposal where appropriate.

Leads

Bring a hypothesis

Have a promising idea, target or experiment for SDH-deficient GIST that just needs backing and drive? That's exactly what this mission is for.

Network

Connect & convene

I work to bring the right people together across metabolism, immuno-oncology and functional models. If a collaboration would help, I'll help make the introductions.

Where the opportunities lie

Mission Pegasus is especially interested in directions that fit the distinct biology of SDH loss, including:

  • Metabolic vulnerabilities created by loss of the SDH enzyme.
  • Immunotherapy approaches suited to this tumour type.
  • Functional models and testing — evaluating candidate therapies against faithful models of the disease.
  • Drug repurposing and screening to surface options that could reach patients sooner.

These are starting points, not limits. If your work is adjacent, get in touch anyway.

Get in touch

Tell me about your work.

A short note about what you do and where it might connect is all it takes to start. Specific resources and any data sharing are always handled through appropriate agreements.
